Herzing University proudly supports America's veterans, active-duty military personnel and their spouses. Transitioning from military life to civilian life can be a challenging journey, and veterans must have access to educational and career opportunities. At Herzing, we are committed to serving you with the same integrity you served your country, providing the education and support services you need to help you pursue and achieve the success you deserve.
Herzing University offers an unwavering commitment to supporting veterans in pursuing higher education and successful careers; our history is rooted in it. The first Herzing campus was founded in 1965 by Henry Herzing, a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy. The strength, diligence, and determination he brought from the service to higher education set the standard we work to uphold every day. We believe that you served us and now it is our opportunity to serve you!

2. Dedicated Veterans Resource Centers
Through a grant from the Department of Education, Herzing University has opened a Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Services (CEVSS) with a dedicated office at our Kenosha Campus, an online resource center and dedicated staff that works exclusively with military and veteran students.
The CEVSS program provides an on-campus space and numerous online resources designed to offer support, programs and resources that aim to ensure inclusivity and a sense of belonging across the student lifecycle at Herzing University.

Herzing University understands that veterans often have unique scheduling needs due to deployments and other military obligations. As a result, they offer flexible program options, including online courses, evening classes and accelerated programs, allowing veterans to pursue their education while accommodating their busy lives. These opportunities are available to veterans, active military, and their spouses.
Herzing also offers QuickPath options to transition from a military career to a career in nursing. Our Military Medic to a Registered Nurse (RN) can be completed in as few as 20 months.
